Last Sunday night I had the honor of interviewing Lee “Scratch” Perry, after his show at the Independent in San Francisco. The Upsetter, the Grand Daddy of Dub, Reggae, and Rock Steady played a mesmerizing show, backed by Dub is a Weapon, whose members are all about half a century younger than the 71 year old Perry who took the stage looking like a cross between Liberace and a chandelier.

Check out his most recent album “Panic in Babylon” for some amazing dub from the dub master.
